Description
“Yuri-Ginsai” is a glazing technique to produce underglaze silver decoration porcelain. The major feature is a highly transparent overglaze on gilded porcelain.

- 1974: Selected for a prize in Issuikai, continuously selected hereafter
- 1978: Selected for a prize in the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
- 1981: Received a Traditional Industry Skill Encouragement award of Ishikawa Prefecture
- 1987: Received an award at the Traditional Kutani Exhibition
- 1990: Received a Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition Ministry of Education Award
The Agency for Cultural Affairs purchased his underglaze silver square bowl - 1993: His underglaze silver pot was selected as a permanent preservation work at the Sackler Gallery of Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.
- 1997: Won the grand prize in the Traditional Kutani Ceramic Crafts Exhibition and his work was purchased by a prefectural museum
- 2001: Won the grand prize in the Traditional Kutani Ceramic Crafts Exhibition and his work was purchased by a prefectural museum
- 2002: Designated as an Intangible Cultural Property in Ishikawa Prefecture
Designated as the holder of preservation of Kutani ceramic skills - 2008: Appointed as a director of the Japan Crafts Association
Became a review committee member of Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition - 2009: Special guest exhibitor at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
- 2011: Received the Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon
- 2012: Received the Komatsu City Cultural Award

- 2016: The Imperial Household Agency purchased his work, which was exhibited at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition as a special guest
